Absolutely perfect evening and dinner with my Wife. We are new to Texas and I searched for a few days for a great place to Surprise my Wife with Dinner. Turns out, we found it. From the young Man that greeted us at the host stand to Jason our Server. Never hurts when others in the restaurant visit your table just to make sure you are doing great including the Bartender, Manager and the Owner. It was near closing time when we arrived and they, very easily, could have been checked out and ready to go, but they were engaged and made us feel like we were welcome to stay as long as we needed. Great place you have Mrs Wilkerson and we wish you all the success!

This was our first time dining at Silver Fox after a friend recommendation. It did not disappoint!! We sat at the bar, which our friend recommended. Braden gave excellent service! We loved the sweet pickles and bread. They were delicious and a nice touch. We split a wedge salad, which was huge. It was very tasty with tons of blue cheese and bacon. I had the scallops, which were amazing!!! The sauce was so yummy, and they were cooked perfectly. My husband's filet was delicious, and he loved the mashed potatoes. We will definitely be back!!

TLDR get yo butts out here. Best steakhouse ever! I went for a celebratory dinner with dear friends and we all tried the DFW restaurant week menu. It was absolutely amazing! My friends got ahi tuna nachos, an optional first course. Then we all got lobster bisque (not pictured). After, we enjoyed our main course. The filet mignon was cooked to a perfect medium for me and a solid rare for my friend (we were happy with accurate cooking per our request. Maybe I shouldn't be so impressed? But another reviewer heard his steak moo), and we both enjoyed a beautifully seared crust. The veggies were snapped peas and red pepper. The pepper was nicely roasted and the pea was sautéed lightly such that it was minimally seasoned and retained a beautiful crisp. The steak and veggies were both seasoned such that the natural flavor of the ingredients were not masked but enhanced. The mashed potato was absolutely amazing - garlicky, buttery and smooth. And it was enhanced by the mushroom gravy, which was rich and flavorful. Finally, the dessert was the mandarin orange cake and chocolate ganache cake. My friend and I shared a bite of each others' cakes and his chocolate cake was wonderful, decadent and rich and not too sweet! Mine was a little sweet towards the end but still light and fluffy and tasty. I don't think I would have been able to finish my dessert if I got choco cake (I already had to adjust my belt for my food baby) Service is always important, and our server was super kind and attentive! Our courses were brought with perfect timing, one after another. And I'm pretty sure our water glasses never made it below half full. A nice person in a suit, who I assume to be the owner of the restaurant, dropped by to say hi to us and ask about our experience, and he was at the entrance with the entrance staff to say goodbye to us as we headed out. The staff made us comfortable and at home. If it wasn't beyond my college student budget this place would be a regular for me. But one thing is for sure - I will dream of those potatoes for the rest of my life.

This is like going to your fathers favorite steakhouse. I don't know how to describe it any better. The menu is traditional and dining room is quaint place. For an early Friday evening it was very empty. We sat at bar. The bartenders were overly attentive to some and left us with slow service entire time. It was disappointing. They definitely gave us space and in no hurry. Drinks were good. A guy next to me had the prime rib. It was massive and rare. I think I heard it moo. If I ordered steak I would go for another cut. They serve some pickles (already sliced) and bread before meals. You might have to ask for it. Would I go back? Tough call. Yes but only if friend asks. I'm being generous with the 4 stars...

I had a craving for a thick, juicy steak but with the 20° temperature outside, getting out of pajamas wasn't an option. Thanks to a Door Dash promotion, I was able to enjoy dinner from Silver Fox in the comfort of my warm home. Thanks to their careful packaging, my entree was still hot when it arrived. Included with my dinner was a foil-wrapped sizable round bread loaf. Unfortunately, the bread was chewy, like it had been nuked in the microwave. Fast forward to my steak, perfectly juicy and cooked to a perfect medium. I had to close my eyes with each bite so I could savor that pure tender steak flavor. 16 oz of steak later... (yes I ate it all, don't judge me) and I was one happy onesie pajama wearing lady. The green beans and potatoes were well flavored too but I prefer to focus on the steak not the beans. Quick tip if you get carry-out, that square hunk of white stuff in the foil paper next to the tomatoes and onions... well it's not cheese. I repeat, that is not cheese. It's butter and I found out a little too late. All in all, it was a great meal. Thanks Silver Fox for teaming up with a delivery service for all of us who prefer pj's over winter coats.
